So today we would have headed to France. We had spent about 2 days in Rome, so we wanted to hit the road and head to the Netherlands. Our friend Sheldon lives there and we wanted to spend a good amount of time visiting him. So on the way we headed up through northern Italy and went through Mont Blanc, which is an amazing tunnel. We end up staying in Geneva, beautiful spot nestled in the mountains. So we wake up the next day and have breakfast then we head up through Dijon to Metz then into Belgium. This is one nice drive, and the one thing I will say is that I will go back to France and spend some time, it is a beautiful country and the people are great. I didn't find anyone to be rude at all, and the food is by far the best I have had..... So ya, off to the Netherlands. I asked my son if he knew where that was, and he said it was where Peter Pan lived.... To funny.
