Sign

Well this is the last in the sign series. I couldn't resist in taking this picture. I was thinking how funny it was with the words Pas op! Nat? Glad! The picture tops it off, I was thinking that back in the day Bon Jovi should have used this for the slippery when wet cover. It would have had a big impact on their careers. Posted by Hello

Well as we proceed with the sign series I like to refect on this one. The average Joe in the free world would look at it an think Metallica the black album. Well in the desert around Indio California they say this means the snakes can bite and they sleep in the shade.
I know when I saw it I thought of the unforgiven instantly.
So well lets see. I went out after work with Aaron and his brother Brent. Jennifer had a steak sandwich, followed by a salad, followed by apple crisp. She is pregnant.
I had about 5 lovely beers called velvet fog, O they are a good one very similar to Hogarden.
We all talked about the good things in life, and had allot of fun.

Ngah, that has to hurt. I have decided that sometimes signs are funny even when they are conveying a sad outcome. I fugure that most things that are dangerous around the world should just get a simple sign like a skull or the word DANGER. O no there must be a picture showing what could happen. I know not everyone can read, and a picture says a thousand words. I like to think this one says Kazap.

Green Beer.

Well here it is another St Patrick's Day. I thought I would dive in to the real meaning of the day, it is Beer.
Yes I said beer.... Obviously it is another excuse to drink, wear green, and listen to Celtic music.
I was thinking on my way to work about how many Celtic bands are out there, and they all look so forward to the one day a year that they are assured a gig. Other than playing at an Irish bar, or a Maritime bar they are S.O.L.
It is funny how the minute a jig starts people start to stomp one foot, clap their hands and go either eeeeeeeeee, or oy oy oy oy.
I know that everyone is guilty of it.. More than likely tanked out of their mind.
I will say the best St Patrick's I had was at the Republic a long time ago. The Mahones were playing, it was a stinkin good time. I walked out looking like I had taken a shower with my clothes on, and as typical here in Calgary there was about 3 inches of snow on the ground. There was so much steam coming off of me that I looked like I was on fire.

Well enjoy the green beer...

Today I was remembering when I was in Amsterdam, I was walking around with Sheldon at 4 in the morning. Jennifer, and Debbie had gone back to the hotel. I was thinking after we left how surreal it all was, hanging out with a best friend on the other side of the world.
Sheldon and I spent many nights in Calgary arguing, and discussing many different views over a nice cold pint. I think it was because we hadn't seen each other for almost a year once he had moved there. Anyway there is no real point to what I am jabbering on about except it was a good time. We were at Boom Town Chicago after it closed hanging out with some friends, and watching the Football game (from what I remember, lots of toxins in the system at that point)
Good times.
That is what it is all about.

Lost in the tank of life.

Ok, so today was a normal day. I worked, then went for drinks with Dave and Karen. Jennifer and I really enjoy food, so we ate some good grub.
It is strange how much I dislike my day job, I work and look so forward to the weekend. O Loverboy was right, everybody is indeed working for the weekend.

So the picture is a reminder.
No matter how bad you think you may look from one day to the next it could be worse, you could be some ugly ass fish in a tank.
I think it could be used as a metaphor for everyones life, you know what I mean.
We are all but ugly ass fish, and the word is our over sized fish tank. Something like that.

Well as my buddy Sheldon would say, "dude time for bed".
With warmest regards.Posted by Hello

And the Dino goes Roar.

This is a picture that I have over my desk, as you can see it says "to dad". It is a Dinosaur that my son Tegwyn made. Posted by Hello

Stress is a thing

Well for those of you who don't know me I am in the middle of finalizing a house purchase. It has brought on allot of stress to myself, and the family. Mainly due to the banks.
But I figure it will make me stronger, and when all is said and done we will have something to show for all the hard work and sleepless nights.

I was told the other night that even if you own your house, Canadian law states that the Government can come in and take it from you. I am going to look in to this, I was very surprised.

Blog

This is the beginning of something new, the title is easily explained.
It is from Watership down.
A story that I remember since I was about 6. Damn those rabbits can be scary.
