Ready for lift off.

So... Tomorrow I will be heading out on the road for a 6 day tour of the BC interior. We are leaving here heading to Banff for a look around, then headed to Lake Louise. We have reserved 2 suites at the Chateau to spend the night for all of us. Then headed to Salmon arm for the night, to relax on the beach for the day. Then to Clearwater where we have 2 cabins reserved for the night on the lake there, also we will go see some of the waterfalls in that area, they have the 4th largest one in North America it is 4 times taller than Niagara falls. Then we will head to Jasper for the night we have 2 cabins reserved there. Then on to Edmonton, we will do the Mall thing and such. We will head home after that. So we will be taking about 6 days to do this, and after that my wife's father will be flying in from Alabama. We will visit for the day then he leaves that night. Then I will have a week off before returning to work. and that kids is how you fill 2 weeks with non stop action.

So it should be interesting, 2 old ladies, 2 kids, My beautiful wife, and myself heading out on the open road. I will make sure to post some pictures of the voyage.

Giant Drag you got it yet, No, well go get it.

Fly me to the moon.

So how is it that most Sundays when I wake up I feel like listening to Frank Sinatra? He has that sound that goes nicely with Eggs Benedict, and a nice cup of coffee. I find then we end up putting on the Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars record by Bowie. That is one good album, especially when listened to on our old RCA Victrola. Man I love music, ya I know that it is an understatement for me. I love to talk, listen, play, dream about music. I have spent entire evenings with my buddy Sheldon just talking bands, styles, history the whole shemaz. I can remember one trip that Sheldon and I took, I can't remember where we were going I think it may have been to Vancouver. All we did was talk music for 12hrs straight, I think Darryl, and my beautiful wife were in the car and they just sat there.
Don't get me wrong I talk about other things but music is just very interesting to me. I would hate it when Sheldon and I would do a top 5 favorite song writer, or band or whatever. He would always get me to go first so that he could make his better. Ya funny stuff.

Top 5 songwriters.

5.
Bernie Taupin
4. Neil Young
3. John Lennon
2. Leonard Cohen
1.
Matt Johnson

I could re-write this a million times and it would change every time except for #1.
So ya I was going to say Mozart, or Bach, but I figured that would be to typical.

Farts, and popcorn.

I caught the express bus today, and you would think that I would have enjoyed it. Mainly due to the fact that it is quick, it got me to the core in about 20min from my place. The regular bus I catch takes about 40 min. So anyway I get on the express, and I sit down there are about 20 people on it already. I am used to the normal morning smells toothpaste, cologne, hairspray, but this morning was different. I am over taken by the smell of Curry, it hits me so hard that I start taking small breaths to avoid inhaling large amounts of it. I can't breath through my mouth because when I do, I end up tasting it. Don't get me wrong I enjoy Curry, and actually make a great curried rice with Chicken and Mango Chutney. I could have sworn that the person behind me was eating a plate of curry, and with every mouthful they were blowing my way. I imagine that who ever it was that was so curry full woke up and instead of going for a bowl of Rice Krispies decided to heat up last nights left overs.

Thank you come again.

Experiment.

A smelly butt says I don't get it.

Summer is over....

Or at least it feels like it. The weather has changed from hot and sunny to just plain overcast. It is not cold, it is just more cloud cover than we usually get here. I guess it could be worse, there could be snow.

So Mr Spartan gave his notice yesterday at work, and they walked him out. I guess that is what happens when you tell them that the competitor will pay you more to work for them. He is what you call a specialist.... of what, we are not exactly sure. I believe it has something to do with the breeding of mice, or worms or something like that. What ever it is, he specializes in it.

Well I should return to my work, or look like I am working. I find that if you scratch you chin and look deep in thought (even if the thought is which is better Cheetos, or Cheez-it's) you can get away with not having to do much.

So anyway, I must bid you adue, adoo, aroo. ..... ..... .... Until next time.

Lucy, I'm Home

Yes.... yes I am So click on me.

Updates Anyone.

Well yes I am here, I have been spending lots of quality time in B.C. and now I am back for a good strech. Jennifer's parents were good enough to open the doors and let us stay for quite some time. Her sisters were great also, keeping Brynn occupied. The weather was hot, hot. As we know all good things must come to an end... that is unless you live there all year round.

Back at work things are moving along as usual.

I am trying to sell something on ebay for the first time. I posted it last night and I have already had 11 bids. It is going to be posted for 7 days, who knows maybe I will make some money.

So I know this was not much of an update, but I will call it a start. More updates to come.
