Sasquatch Day 2

On the second day we woke up, and it was raining and cold. We had a really good sleep though. We were hungry so we went into town to find a place to eat. There was only one place, and it was called "The Bar" It was just a little town, with a small local bar. It was interesting. We charged our camera at our table for two hours while our eggs cooked, they were really busy. These bikers were in there, so one of the bikers ended up serving coffee to the whole place to help get things moving. We went to Walmart to get some warm clothing so we wouldnt freeze like the day before. It was literally in the middle of nowhere. Finally we made it back for day two of the festival. It was so hot there that Jennifer had to go take off her long underwear in an outhouse. It must have been close to 30C. We got there in time to See Gomez who are awesome, then Sufjohn Stevens came on, then Iron and Wine, Then about a half an hour after that, right during Neko Cases set, it started to rain and hail. The hail were the size of marbles. After a half hour of hail, they had to clean the stage and reset it up, it was completely white from the hail, and everyone was soaking wet, it was freezing. The best bands of the weekend were playing from Neko Case on until the end of the night so we didnt go anywhere, we stayed and kept our spots. It was very memorable, and wouldnt change a thing. After Neko, The Tragically Hip played, they dedicated their set to Neko since she only got through three songs before she was run off stage. After The Hip, The Shins played, then Ben Harper which was good but seemed to never end, then the best show of the Festival, The Flaming Lips. They didnt get on until after mid night, but for those who waited around, it was well worth the wait.
