Frigiddy frig frig frig.
Ha, so here is the scoop on what is new with us. My wife has settled in nicely, so nice in fact that she is starting to talk allot like the Easterner. Now let me tell you the don't speak like Cape Brettoners, or Newfoundlenders but they do have their own isms, and speakery. Allot of the locals have a slight twang (not all of them) and they tend to say "frig" allot. So the other day we were driving along and something happens, and she starts with the "frig" speak. I sit and listen for a bit, and start to chuckle and she stops to say "what"? I am laughing at her and say "I lived here for the majority of my life, and I managed to avoid the twang, and speakery. She tells me that she has always spoke this way, and I say "I imagine you frigin have"

Yo....
So we spent the weekend at our place in Cocagne it was nice they have snow there, here in S.J. we still have no snow but a fair ammount of rain and so begins our story. We came back to S.J. yesterday afternoon and it had been raining allong with the dropping temperature we got what they call freezing rain. So we decided the best thing to do was go for a drive arond Menans Cove, this is where we want to buy a place. So we drive on the slippery roads until we come to a place that is for sale, I turn off the road and drive down the driveway. It is paved, and straight down I have driven down steep driveways but this was steep. So we get to the bottom of this windey straight down driveway look around at the place which was nothing special. Anyway we didn't realize we needed to go back to the top. I tried about 5 or 6 times spinning like mad on the ice, and I have winter tires made for ice. So this is the part where my dad would be proud, always be prepared. I got to use the chains I had bought a month prvious they worked like a charm. Once we got to the top I realized there was a parking stall at the top.
